We’re not trying to sell you a final product. This is a research project that aims to develop a new imaging device that brings new diagnostic information, or replaces existing expensive imaging methods.
The device is still under development and we look for partners who could help us find other applications where RoScan might be useful.
Every part (hardware and software) of RoScan system is fully under our control, so it can be easily modified for new applications. Please let us know if you think about an application, where RoScan might be useful.
Inflammation Localization
An inflammation in the body is always accompanied by increased temperature in the surrounding area. Thanks to the thermal layer in the scanned 3D model, the inflammation can be easily detected and localized.
Localization of Non-Physiological Objects in the Body
Encapsulated non-physiological object in the body is often not visible, not even palpable. However, because it causes improper local blood circulation in the tissue, its presence will affect the temperature distribution and the object is visible in the thermal layer.
Recovery Process Monitoring
Scanning with RoScan is cheap and fast, so there is no problem to scan patient limb every day or even every hour. It is then possible objectively monitor the development of a recovery process. The sample is bumped left thumb. Notice the right thumb, its temperature does not change.

Necrotic tissue Monitoring
Like the inflammation is characterized by increased temperature, dying necrotic tissue is characterized by a temperature decrease, due to the lower blood circulation.
This application we have so far only in our heads and we are looking for a suitable partner for RoScan testing in this field.
